1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
“Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield describes a young girl beginning to write her own song. “Unwritten” represents me and all of the junior high ladies that I meet through my platform, FearlesslyGirl. Through my workshops, I am guiding my participants’ hands in a position direction as they write their stories. I am still writing my own story of my journey to success – the rest is still unwritten.
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
When I am working and traveling the country, Boot Barn always has my back for any wardrobe needs. It is a national chain, so if I forget something at home, Boot Barn is my trusty sidekick that has everything I need.
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
I love traveling! Every Christmas, my parents, sisters, and I travel across the state to Rapid City in the Black Hills of South Dakota to visit my mom’s family. I enjoy spending time with family members that I don’t get to see often and taking in the adventures and sites of the Black Hills.
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
Ever since I was three years old, I have showed sheep. For years, I have appreciated this art! I enjoy spending family time during the summer at sheep shows. My sister – Alison – and I have a nonverbal language that gives us an edge over the competition. Traveling to over twenty-five states, receiving multiple scholarships, and gaining endless connections are all thanks to my dedication to showing sheep.
